The Top 100 WWE Superstars (Part 5 of 10)

60. Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy has delivered some of the most insane spots in WWE history. He is a multiple time tag champion, along with his brother, as well as a multiple time Intercontinental Champion. He is hugely popular, and has won the WWE’s World Title several times, as well as TNA’s World Title.

59. Bruiser Brody

Brody was one of the savage-type wrestlers. He was known to destroy his opponents using very few wrestling holds. Sadly, this great was stabbed to death by Jose Hernandez Gonzales, who was never charged for the crime, despite there being several eye witnesses.

58. Vader

Vader was one of the top heels in Japan and in WCW. He even won the WCW World Title on three occasions. Sadly, the WWF never quite figured out what to do with the big man. He main evented some shows, but never really got anywhere. (On YouTube, you can find the match in Japan in which his eye gets popped out.)

57. CM Punk

CM Punk has quickly made a name for himself in WWE history. After having great success on the independent circuit, Punk has won several titles in WWE, including the World, Intercontinental, and Tag Team Titles. He has won two Money in the Bank Ladder Matches. He has established himself as one of the best on the mic, cutting heel promos as well as anyone in the business. His in ring skill is just as good, and he is destined for great things. He lives the Straight Edge life, which has been good in the wake of the recent steroid scandal.

56. Brock Lesnar

The first time I saw Brock Lesnar, I said that he would be a World Champion someday. Little did I know that it would only be a few months later. Brock had it all- charisma, talent, muscle, and even the “it” factor that so many wrestlers don’t have. Brock could have been one of the top 25 if only he had remained in the business. He began as an NCAA National Heavyweight Champion. Then he turned pro and went to the WWF. After winning the WWF/WWE World Title 3 times, he left professional wrestling, burning many bridges along the way. If he had stayed, I have no doubt that he would still be a top star today. He has since found great success in MMA, becoming the UFC World Heavyweight Champion.

55. Dynamite Kid

The Dynamite Kid is one of the best wrestlers to never win a world title. He is known in the US as the tag team partner of Davey Boy Smith, but world wide he is known as one of the best ever. His influence in the ring can be seen on nearly every card at every wrestling event today. His speed and his power combined to form a great in-ring style.

54. Davey Boy Smith

Originally a member of The British Bulldogs, Davey Boy split from the Dynamite Kid and began calling himself “The British Bulldog.” Smith was a great strongman in wrestling. He held the Intercontinental and European Titles in the WWF, and feuded for world titles in both the WWF and WCW. He was a member of the Hart Foundation, along with Brian Pillman, Owen Hart, Jim Neidhart, and Bret Hart. He was the brother-in-law of the Hart Brothers (he married their sister), and the cousin of the Dynamite Kid.

53. Rob Van Dam

Rob Van Dam was known as the most innovative wrestler in ECW. While there, he held the ECW Television Title for 23 months, but had to abandon the title due to an injury. Van Dam wrestled for several years in the WWF/WWE, but it wasn’t until the end of that time that he finally won his first world title, the WWE World Championship. He was also named the ECW Champion of the newly resurrected brand. He later moved on to TNA Wrestling, where he won their World Title.

52. Kevin Nash

Known as “Diesel” in the WWF, Nash was the World Champion for one year. He also held the Intercontinental and Tag Team Titles. In WCW, Nash teamed with Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan to start the NWO. While there, he won the Tag Titles and the World Heavyweight Title.

51. Antonino Rocca

Antonino Rocca was one of the greatest fan favorites of all time. His fans loved to watch his acrobatic style. He wrestled in several federations, including the NWA’s Capitol Wrestling, which is known today as WWE. He won several regional heavyweight titles throughout his career.
